New Beginnings...

So we finally did it! On May 9, 2009 Chris and I graduated from Radford University. On May 11, 2009, WE MOVED OUT OF RADFORD! I couldn't be sad about graduating because I was so anxious to get out of there. I remember when Chris and I would drive around Radford or Christiansburg, we would just keep saying, "We're almost out of here, just a few more days." When we were driving down I66 about 10 exits away from my new home at his Mom's house, I changed my radio stations haha.

Once we got settled in, we took a trip back to my hometown, Virginia Beach, for the weekend. Friday night, we went out to dinner at Chick's Raw Oyster Bar (Chris' Favorite), for Courtney's birthday. Saturday, we got everything ready for Courtney's baby shower. Rain drowned out the baby shower. People that RSVP'd didn't even show up. However, you can always count on family. Mommy took me shopping on Monday to get some clothes for work. I hate shopping for clothes right now because I'm not at my "happy" weight. I've been trying to get back down to a comfortable weight, but I'm so out of shape. It's going to take a lot of hard work.

This past week Chris and I have just really enjoyed the time off we have now because I start my internship next Wednesday and we've successfully transferred to Outback in Warrenton which starts next Monday. Orientation for my internship was held on Wednesday, and I walked out of there thinking, "How in the world did I land this internship." Of the 7 interns, I am the only one that has graduated, therefore that puts me in great position to land a job with them if something is open. We have an event on May 30th with the Washington Mystics and June 1st, our "Fore Our Youth" Golf Tournament. I'm excited to start. I will definitely keep updating throughout the summer.
Here are some pics from Graduation...
